David Mays

Management Consultant

David Mays has been a family friend and was a confirmation mentor to Jorgen through Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in 2009-2010. “There were always so many things to catch up on and new things to talk about, we would open and close our meetings with a prayer, sharing both our joys and concerns, we would meet at a restaurant and get lost in conversation, talking over the month’s confirmation topic and our faith, we would always weave in his favorite passion; baseball, music, and most of the time, end with ice cream! I will always be impressed by the maturity of Jorgen’s faith, a gift I know that was nurtured by his mom and dad, Julie and J.R.” I am honored to be a part of the JY6 Foundation and to benefit others and also to hold Jorgen’s memory close to my heart.”

A business and marketing professional, David is a member of SME (Sales and Marketing Executives – Sioux Falls), Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and serves on several other boards. When he’s not focused on innovation for business; he enjoys travel, kayaking and outdoor adventures, and is married, with two daughters.
